| Rear Adm. Ziemer with Alford Makayi, a RAPIDS community volunteer prepares to enter a hut to deliver LLINs and health information. RAPIDS, a World Vision-led consortium, uniting several faith institutions, including Catholic Relief Services, the Salvation Army, Expanded Church Response, CARE, and Africare, will use its established network of caregivers and its household approach to distribute and follow up on the LLINs. The RAPIDS home-based care program also will provide personal weekly or biweekly follow-ups to check on the health of each patient and ensure the LLINs are being used properly. |
